We arrived in Kennedy Meadows on June 29 about 11:30. We walked into a restaurant called Grumpies where we immediately ran into PCT hiker trail named Hazard. She is part of the group Cameron aka Headbanger has been hiking with. She was not updated on Cams progress, we told her we expected him in later in the day. She and three others had arrived the day before, late in the day.
Beth and I believingCam would arrive late in the day took our time exploring TCO , then set up Cam, and then did a four mile hike to the KM bridge up river
After the hike we then headed back into town and we’re planning on stopping at the KM Market. Upon arriving the first person we saw was Cameron. Turns out he and Tinkerbell had arrived an hour earlier.
They will take a zero and hike out on July 1
